In the NBA Gary Payton is known as The Glove and his son, Gary Payton II is the Little Big Man. Both monikers also describe the Chef’s Petty. Fits the hand like a glove and handles like a little big knife. Seriously, short blade with a full size handle and extra blade height. Slices, obviously. Rocks, yes. My personal favourite, chop action on garlic = beautifully fine slices. Aglio olio, oh yeah! Splendidly sharp out of the box and looks like the younger brother you wouldn’t mess with just because he’s smaller than his siblings in the FireChef Complete Set knife roll.
They ain’t just good looking knives.
Excellent and swift service from the Oz Braai team to boot.

In 4000 BC, humans began working with metal. In 1300 BC, the first steel was forged when a blacksmith discovered that adding carbon to iron made metal harder and better able to hold an edge. In 400 BC, the process was perfected in India. The entire storied history of metallurgy led to the creation of these knives. They are the best knives I have ever owned. Get a set for yourself or someone you love now.

Initially purchased the FireChef Chef’s knife and absolutely loved it. However, I wanted a smaller knife for finer work. When the Chef’s Petty was released, I had to purchase it same day. A fantastic knife, sharpest knife I have ever used and of the best quality, you can be very precise with it. I use it in my kitchen at home. Oz Braai shipped it very quickly, a 10/10 for product and service.
