Ingredients

  Fresh whole Jalapenos
  Cream Cheese
  Bacon

Directions

Slice the Jalapenos in half and remove the seeds

Fill the centres of the jalapenos with cream cheese and re-join the 2 halves of the jalapeno

Wrap thin strips of bacon around the whole jalapeno and skewer with a toothpick

Place in the Camp Braai and grill over medium heat until the bacon is browned all over.

    I have done this using apricot and almond creamed cheese as the filling. I split the Jalapeno’s leaving the stalk attached, scrape out the seeds and membranes then pack with the cheese. They are yumbo!!!

    Hi, I made this a couple of years ago before I saw it on here and found it to be lacking punch. I added a good lashing of BBQ spice to the cream cheese and found that helped. Lots of stuff can be added to the cream cheese eg corn relish to liven things up. I realise this then becomes a 4 ingredient snack but its worth it.
