The 4th piece to our highly acclaimed FireChef Chef’s range, the Petty knife is used for small, delicate work. It’s a small and versatile kitchen knife with a wide variety of applications, such as peeling vegetables and fruits or decorating fruits for cocktails and cakes. It’s perfect for hand peeling fruits and veggies and equally handy for small work on a cutting board. Folks who feel uncomfortable with large knives can often get a lot done with smaller precision knives. It can even be used as a Paring knife for cutting those delicious cheeses.
This hand-forged Chef’s Petty is a well-balanced and weighted multipurpose knife made from German Steel and full tang as one solid piece from the handle to the tip.
Promising unparalleled dexterity, perfect for slicing through onions, vegetables, meat, juicy steaks or your house-made BILTONG cleanly and with the greatest of ease.
With a 5″ (12.5. cm) blade and a hardwood handle casing ergonomically shaped for a very comfortable handgrip that feels second nature.
Weighing a respectable 130 grams, a gentle guide of the blade down will be all that’s needed for the perfect cut every time.
Included is a unique canvas sheath doubling as a safety feature to protect both the knife and anything else from coming into contact with the sharp blade.
